Sculpting

The kids are totally into sculpting with clay these days.  It's not often I remember to photograph their masterpieces, but I happened to capture them on this day...
Bro did the "knife," bowl, and plate.  Raindrop did lots of balls, but they were thrown around the house before they finished drying.

Songbird did this Seagull perched on top of a fence in front of an earthen cottage :)  She also did the canoes and various people.

I did this Tufted Titmouse and the grey tree in the background.

Snow Days

It's been an unusual Georgia Winter with 2 snows for the season already.  What would have been considered a light dusting in Maine, hardly worth noticing, completely crippled the city of Atlanta.  It left many with war stories and battle scars, but I'm thankful to have been cozy in the home with the kids.  And now Hubry can honestly tell his Grandchildren that he walked 4.5 miles home from work in the snow...

We pushed the little red table in front of the fire and had lots of hot chocolate breaks in between snowball fights.
